Is this a painted canvas?
No,
it is a digital thermal print. We use pigment based ink, printed at
super high resolution revealing great detail and texture. It looks like
a painted canvas, but it is not.

Can I supply an image to you and have it printed as a large modern canvas?

You can submit a 4 x6 photo and have it printed into a large modern canvas.
How long does it take to get?
We
ship out all GEC's within 5 business days via FedEx Ground. This means
it may take as many as 10 business days for your canvas to arrive to
you. If you need to expedite an order please contact us, for an extra
fee we can arrange expedited shipping of your order.
How thick are the stretcher bars?
Our
bars are 1 and 3/8ths of an inch thick. We finish the back and attach
D-rings and a coated hanging wire. The depth of your canvas when will
be about 1 and a half inches.
What if I want to hang the canvas in a direction other than what is shown?
No
problem! Just enter the way you would like us to attach the hanging
wire (either horizontal or vertical) in the customer comments box when
you place an order and we will make it so.
How do you create the images?
Each
one is an original studio piece created by our design team and headed by
our creative director. All images are a mixture of digital and hand
process.
Why do the images have expiration dates?
Images
with expiration dates are only available up until the date shown. We
thought this is an interesting way to limit the canvases we make. A few
of our images are what we call "core" images, these do not expire, and
are available on an ongoing basis. Either way, our canvases are a
unique product exclusive to our website and catalog, you can't get them
anywhere else. Each one is hand dated and authenticated on the back.
Is it waterproof?
NO...
you can't hang it i your swimming pool shower or lake! We spray them so
they are archival in quality, this means that when hung indoors the
colors won't fade. They should be handled with reasonable care,
avoiding all moisture when touching. Dust them only... don't use windex
or water to try and clean them.
How do I know exactly what the colors are like?
Unfortunately, different monitors will produce different color tones, we feel that overall colors are 90% accurate.
What if I'm not happy with my GEC?
God
forbid this should be the case! You can return your purchase if you
contact us within 30 days of your receiving it. Note, we will refund
you less a 15% restocking fee and we do not pay for the return
shipping, you must pay for that expense. If you want to return, you
must call us and request an RMA# first, before you send something back.
What if I have a problem with my order?
We

We will add appropriate duty and GST to your order upon checkout, allow
a couple more days for customs and international shipping.
